IACURH stands for the Intermountain Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls. We are one of eight regional affiliates of the national association NACURH, Inc.
The University of Colorado, as a state flagship institution, prides itself in the development and advancement of relational and ethical leadership. To fulfill the obligation of providing such tools to students, we have set goals as both an academic institution and as a community where students and staff are empowered every day.
Below are our goals regarding this conference:
- To design and facilitate programs and informational to promote the goals of residence hall students through innovative means
- To fulfill the Colorado Creed: As a member of the Boulder community and the University of Colorado, I agree to: Act with honor, integrity and accountability in my interactions with students, faculty, staff and neighbors. Respect the rights of others and accept our differences. Contribute to the greater good of this community. I will strive to uphold these principles in all aspects of my collegiate experience and beyond
- To Enhance the overall campus community at all regional institutions
- To promote inclusiveness, social justice, acceptance, and diversity in every facet of our collegiate experience
- To provide every participant with the necessary tools to improve their residence hall and make positive change in the life of their residents
- To promote awareness of the issues and challenges which college students face; and, to provide innovative solutions to improve student life.
